Framestore founder William Sargent will deliver the opening keynote address in the 3D Revolution seminar room at BVE next month.

BVE’s seminar programme, which exhibition organisers say is the largest of its kind in the UK, will see over 250 seminars delivered in 11 theatres.

Apple-Certified trainer and consultant Larry Jordan makes a return to The Post Production Theatre, where he will present a practical overview of Final Cut Pro X and offer advice about what creative people need to know about storage.

IMG Mediaworld’s Shane Warden will discuss tapeless workflows that were used at the Rugby World Cup in the Broadcast Meets IT seminar room, while John Zubrzycki of BBC Research and Development will look ahead to the use of Super Hi-vision at London 2012.

The 3D Revolution seminar room will also see producer Peter Van Hooke present sessions on the recent Elbow concert which was shot in 3D, along with a case study of the Blackpool Tower 4D Experience film, which was finished using SGO’s Mistika.

There will also be some one-day sessions dedicated to exploring various aspects of a specific topic. Religious broadcasting will be discussed on Tuesday 14 February, followed by Demystifying the Cloud on Wednesday 15 February and Brands Becoming Broadcasters on Thursday 16 February.
