Sky One has signed Noel Edmonds to revive the feeling of Noel's House Party in a new format pitched as an antidote to "broken Britain".
The show, Noel's HQ, will focus on the positive impact individuals can make on other people's lives and will be interspersed with archive footage of public acts of kindness.
It will also have a live studio entertainment element which will capture the feel of Edmonds' classic 90s variety series.
Twofour is making the new programme as a one-off special which will TX on Sky One in the autumn. However, the broadcaster has already indicated that it wants to develop the show as a series.
Richard Woolfe controller of Sky One, as well as Sky Two and Three, has described the programme as a "big commission" for the channel and has identified it as a key plank in its bid to refresh this autumn.
