Hell's Kitchen: fired up international sales for ITV

ITV Worldwide climbs from seventh to fifth position with a total of 10 points after a busy 12 months.

Bringing TV sales under the same roof as home entertainment, publishing and consumer products enabled the company to maximise the value of key properties, says new chief Peter Iacono.

"The second big change is looking at who we represent and the programming we distribute," adds Iacono, who has tripled the company's funding for third-party programming.

As well as working with more UK indies, that also means picking up more programming from North America, and the company's recent first-look deal with Proper Television is likely to be the first of many in that territory.
