"A talented, creative director and minor miracle worker," is Biography Channel boss Richard Melman's take on Lyons, who last year was commissioned to make three exclusive films on Michael Flatley, Donny Osmond and Vinnie Jones for Biography.
The brief: to make them original and filled with great clips, but all on a tiny budget.
"I don't know how she did it but they were among the highest raters on the Biography Channel last year," says Melman.
Says Sienna Productions' Maureen Goldthorpe: "Miriam is that rare breed who grasps a situation quickly and just runs with it, without fuss."
