"Mary is requested more than any other operator for voiceover sessions and sound design," says Jannine Martin, a senior post-producer at Envy.
Her top notch credits include Raw TV's Banged Up Abroad, and sound designs on Joseph Bullman's award-winning Seven Sins of England.
Walsh is certainly multi-talented. A violinist and singer, after studying at Royal Holloway College she was keen to get behind the mic. She started as a runner with Blue and moved with Dave Cadle when he set up Envy.
Says Walsh: "I feel as though I am learning lots of different styles, I can cherry-pick knowledge from some of the best dubbing mixers around."
Walsh is particularly interested in sound design and foley but enjoys working on short form projects as well as documentaries.
"They are punchy and creative and you get the credit for the work too."
Martin says her enthusiasm is paying off: "Mary is continually evolving her sound design style and her attention to detail is second to none. She will make a brilliant dubbing mixer."
