Tiffin's commercial nous and willingness to work hard make him a valuable find, says Wayne Garvie, director of content and production at BBC Worldwide.
He arrived at the company after stints at Lion, Endemol UK, RDF and the BBC, with a string of hits already under his belt including Shipwrecked - Battle of the Islands and Ladette to Lady 2.
As a senior member of BBCW's new creative team, Tiffin has been instrumental in delivering How Much is Enough?, which he saw through to TX on US channel GSN as a consultant producer.
He is now heading up the development of two major adventure and reality commissions for Europe and South America.
"Matt is that rare thing: a young man with a passionate understanding of how to maximise the opportunity of development," Garvie says.
