Bushy hair, lightening wit and a slew of TV and online commissions have been the hallmarks of Hancock's rapid rise at indie World of Wonder.
Recently promoted to head of development, he has been a key influence in the commissions of Jacques Peretti-fronted shows such as Dart Tarts, Hitler: the Comedy Years, and series Penis Envy.
On the boil is a studio series set for piloting, a fact ent series due to go into production this autumn, plus a host of one-offs and online shows. Web content is one of Hancock's fortes.
He developed, produced and wrote Thisisaknife, C4's first web-only show.
According to World of Wonder creative director Johnni Javier, Hancock quickly won C4's trust and has since been allowed to take huge risks - most of which have worked.
"Tim shows unbridled determination, and in development that's pretty useful."
