Outright Distribution has struck a series of deals with two Canadian broadcasters.
Regional public broadcaster TV Ontario has picked up five different documentary series from the Shed-owned distributor.
These include Ricochet Productions' Admission Impossible, investigating the competitive and complicated school admissions process; Born to Be Different, tracing the lives of disabled children; and Mummy Diaries, following terminally-ill mothers saying goodbye to their children.
Other titles include My New Home, which focuses on immigrant children settling in the UK, and Wall to Wall's feature-length Child Genius, which documents the lives of Britain's most gifted children.
The second Canadian broadcaster, W Network, has bought Ricochet's property series Open House, which investigates how the 'open day followed by bids' method of selling homes (popular in the US) goes down in Britain.
According to Jess Khanom, vice president of sales for Outright Distribution in Canada, negotiations are underway on a series of further deals.
