A trio of September Films documentaries on extreme human conditions has been sold to broadcasters throughout Europe, Australasia and North America.
Distributor NBDtv/DCD Media secured the sales of the single one-hour films.
Boys Joined at the Head tells the story of conjoined Egyptian twins as they prepare for life-threatening surgery. It has been picked up by Blue Eyes TV (Germany), Kanal 5 (Sweden), Nelonen (Finland), Nine Network (Australia), TV2 (Denmark), TV3 (Ireland), TVNZ (New Zealand) and Viasat.
An autistic artist is the focus of Stephen Wiltshire: The Human Camera, which has been acquired by Danmarks Radio (Denmark), Kanal 5 (Sweden), Nine Network (Australia), Televisio de Catalunya (Spain), TV Norge (Norway), TVNZ (New Zealand), VTM (Belbium), TV Ontario (Canada) and BBC America.
I am the Elephant Man follows a revolutionary Chinese physician who deals with abnormal tumours. It has been sold to Kanal 5 (Sweden), Nine Network (Australia), TV Norge (Norway), Red Media (Russia), Teva (France) and Nelonen (Finland).
