Singing Bee buzz in Portugal and Romania

Zeal Entertainment, part of the Digital Rights Group (DRG) has secured new production deals in Portugal and Romania for hit show The Singing Bee.
The Singing Bee is a musical game show where contestants chosen from the audience 'sing in the blanks' of partial song lyrics, and if they get it wrong then they lose.
The show, created by The Gurin Company and Juma Entertainment, is set to go into production in Portugal by Endemol for SIC and Romania by ProTV, for ProTv Romania.
Zeal has also lined up second series or additional episode deals in Australia (Nine Network), Chile (Canal 13), Finland (MTV3), Hungary (TV2), Norway (TV3), The Philippines (ABS), Spain (Antena 3), Sweden (TV3) and Turkey (Show TV).
In one year since the show debuted in the US, Singing Bee has notched up 26 production deals, covering 60 countries and merchandising campaigns are running in Chile (Canal 13), the Philippines (ABS-CBN), Spain (Antena 3), Norway (TV3), and Sweden (TV3). In addition broadcasters in Chile, the Philippines, Spain and Hungary (TV2) have launched SMS messaging to promote the show, whilst live karaoke events based on the series are being hosted throughout Hungary.
