C4i hypnotizes Turkey

Turkish viewers are to experience the hypnotic effect of Derren Brown following a multiple content deal for C4i with the recently launched DSmart channel.
The deal will see 45 hours worth of entertainment and comedy programming being broadcast on the channel, which was launched in 2007 by Dogan TV Holding.
Included in the deal are a number of series and specials from psychological illusionist Derren Brown. These are the 1 x 50-minute Derren Brown: Messiah; the 3 x 50-minute Derren Brown: Mind Control; and Derren Brown: Trick of the Mind, 11 x 25-minutes and 6 x 30-minutes.
On the comedy side, DSmart picked up three series of Star Stories, all series of Trigger Happy TV and three series of cult comedy Black Books.
The final programmes in the deal are Rude Tube, the top 50 countdown show from October Films of the funniest video clips from the internet, and Love in the 21st Century, a 6 x 30-minute exploration of sex and love in the modern age.
The deal was brokered by C4i sales executive Nicola Richards.
