Digital producer and distributor MoMedia International has moved into channel distribution after signing a deal with Germany's Just Music.tv.
Just Music.tv has four channels playing music from around the world. MoMedia will now roll them out internationally and make them available on all platforms.
The company has also signed a deal with website Wild Earth (pictured), which gives a window into the African bush, focusing on the animals who visit a watering hole in the Djuma Game Reserve, part of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. Again, the channel will be made available on all platforms.
Audrey Iwanczyszyn, former vice president and managing director EMEA for the Hallmark Channel, has been appointed managing director of channels and platforms to oversee the company's move into channel distribution.
Lucas Bertrand, chief executive officer and co-founder of MoMedia International, said working with brand owners to launch niche channels worldwide is a key objective for the company. "This is a huge step forward for MoMedia as we move into channel distribution globally across all digital platforms including digital TV," he said.
