Sky Arts nets spoof doc

Sky Arts has acquired the spoof documentary It's Nice Up North for broadcast next month.

Filmed by photographer Martin Parr, the 60-minute special features comedian John Shuttleworth putting to the test the theory that the further north you travel, the friendlier people will be, as he travels to Britain's most northerly spot, the Shetland Islands. The documentary was producer by Chic Ken Productions and was entirely self-funded. Sky Arts plans to broadcast the documentary on 11 November at 10.40pm.
