ITV.com registered 1.1 million video views on the day after the final of Britain's Got Talent as part of a wider surge in viewing over the past five months.

More than 8,000 hours of video were watched on the Britain's Got Talent site on Sunday 1 June, contributing to more than 6 million video views on the site during the series transmission of 12 April to 31 May.

The show has helped video views on itv.com and ITV Local grow by 21% month on-month for the past five months.
