Top Up TV has inked a deal with Hollywood studio Warner Bros to add hit shows to its VoD service.
The deal brings programmes including The West Wing, Nip/Tuck, Two and a Half Men, and Supernatural to the pay TV service available on Freeview. Top Up TV costs £9.99 per month and features content from pay-TV channels including MTV, Paramount Comedy, Gold and Hallmark Channel.
Commercial director Jim Hytner said the Warner Bros deal was the first of a number of initiatives this year to improve content.
Top Up TV Anytime was launched in October 2006, offering on-demand access to a number of broadcasters. The company also has plans to launch more VoD channels in the film, sport and lifestyle content genres.
