OTF names UK production chief

Producer and distributor Off The Fence (OTF) has appointed Allison Bean the new managing director of the company's UK development and production office.
Bean is currently heading up OTF's Bristol office and in her new role will oversee the entire management of the UK operation as well as continuing to run OTF's global development team.
She has been in her current role in Bristol since June 2006 and her promotion follows the production team's success with shows such as Monkey Thieves for NatGeo and France 5 and China's Elephants for Animal Planet.
Prior to joining OTF, Bean had been with Ganada Wild Bristol where she developed, produced and directed award-winning docs such as the wildscreen-nominated The Dark Side of Hippos for NatGeo.
