Bravo revisits the good, bad and ugly in football

Flextech-owned men's entertainment channel Bravo has commissioned a revamped version of its show The Football Factoriesas part of a raft of new programmes exploring alternative sides of 'the beautiful game' worldwide.

Real Football Factories Internationalwill -feature British actor Danny Dyer travelling across Europe and South America to reveal some of the world's hardest and fiercest 'firms' of football supporters - from Argentina to Brazil, Italy, Turkey, Poland, the Netherlands, the Balkans and Russia. The series exposes the terrifying arsenal of weapons sometimes used, and features exclusive match-day access to some of the world's most vicious derbies.

The series, from indie Zig Zag, will be executive produced by Danny Fenton and Peter Day and has an extended run of 8 x 60 minutes in its primetime slot. Real Football Factories International will be supported by two one-off specials - the first original commissions produced by Zig Zag North, the indie's Manchester office.

Britain's Greatest Football Managersexamines the nation's most loved, successful, stylish and most notorious football managers in the history of the game, voted for by the public.

Football: The Glory Yearsis a nostalgic and cultural look at football through the 1970s and 1980s, with archive material providing a contrast with today's game. The programmes are due to be aired in late spring/early summer.

Bravo commissioning editor, factual Oliver Wilson ordered the slate of shows and will executive produce.
