Tiscali UK has struck a deal with Warner Bros' distribution arm (WBITD) to offer 400 hours of premium content to Tiscali subscribers.
The content will be available on the Warner TV video-on-demand channel.
Content will include Nip/Tuck, The OC and Smallville. The channel on Tiscali TV will be open to subscribers as part of the service's Entertainment Xtra Mix package.
The package will cost an extra £6.00 on top of the basic £15.99 subscription and will include 14 additional channels including video-on-demand such as 4OD and HBO as well as linear channels such as Discovery and Sci-Fi.
The move continues WBITD's strategic expansion of branded VOD channels around the world. This includes channels with ProSieben in Germany, Virgin Media and BT in the UK, USEN Corporation's GyaO in Japan and Free TV in France. There are new launches scheduled with Orange in France and India.
The content will be available alongside Tiscali's 80+ broadcast channels as well as catch up and on-demand services. The Tiscali subscription costs from £15.99 which includes broadband, a wireless router and set-top box as well as free weekend and international calls.
