Ocean Finance launches 'Loan TV'

Financial services company Ocean Finance has launched the UK's first TV channel dedicated to promoting loans, mortgages and other services.
Ocean TV has launched on digital satellite Sky channel 888 and is being launched as the financial service industry is going through its worst period in recent history.
The channel began broadcasting today with 'red button' interactivity enabling viewers to access a wide range of information of its products.
The channel will sit in the specialist category on the Sky EPG alongside the likes of the Audi Channel.
Canis Media acquired the EPG slot from general entertainment channel Awareness TV earlier this year in a deal that was brokered by Steve Lazarus of Lazarus Media. Lazarus also advised the two private owners of Awareness TV.
Ocean Finance is owned by US insurance giant AIG.
