Format house Distraction Formats has sold its scripted comedy format Serial Frankto US network NBC.

Serial Frankis a comedy about Frank, an ordinary single guy trying to come to terms with the ups and downs of everyday life.

However, Frank also has to contend with his many 'inner selves' who suddenly turn up on his doorstep, although only he can see them.

NBC will develop a pilot for the show with a view to developing a full series.

The format was created by Canadian production company Groupe Locomotion.
