Dailymotion MD quits for Bebo

Kate Burns, the UK managing director of video website Dailymotion, is to head Bebo's European business.
Burns will join Bebo next month as vice president and managing director, a new role created by the social network's new owners AOL to help it launch in Italy, Spain, Germany, France and the Netherlands in the coming months.
The role covers many of the duties previously covered by Joanna Shields, who was recently promoted from international president to chief executive, with the additional remit of presiding over parent company AOL's new People Networks division.
Burns leaves her position at Dailymotion after just four months. She was previously UK managing director for Google and also launched ad network Doubleclick and search engine Altavista in the UK.
She will be based in Bebo's London office.
