RDF signs kids presenters deal

RDF Media Group has signed an exclusive first-look deal with kids presenters Stephen Mulhern and Reggie Yates.

The two-year contracts, with Mulhern's company Blue Eye Productions and Yates' indie, Spray Can Productions, grant RDF all international rights to any new content created under the deal.

RDF director of family entertainment Nigel Pickard described Mulhern and Yates' production companies as "a hot-bed for ideas".

Mulhern currently hosts Britain's Got More Talent on ITV2 and earned his stripes as a presenter on a number of CITV studio shows including Holly & Stephen's Saturday Showdown.

Yates started out as an actor on Grange Hill and turned his hand to presenting on Sunday morning magazine show Smile and Top of the Pops. Since then he has created and starred in the series The Crust and DJ'd under the name No Bizzi on BBC 1Xtra.

Yates said: "We feel we have found a natural home for our creative ramblings."
Mulhern added: "RDF shares my passion and enthusiasm for developing entertainment shows."

Both presenters are represented by James Grant Management.
