Johnny Vaughan is to return to presenting for the first time since C4 flop Space Cadets in a car-themed series for UKTV channel Dave.
The digital channel has signed up the Capital 95.8 DJ as the new host of Car of the Year 2008. Vaughan, who last fronted 'flightless reality turkey' Space Cadats in 2005, will look back at the motoring year and asks viewers to vote for their four-wheeled superstars.
The 4 x 60-minute series is made by IWC.
Vaughan came to prominance in the late 1990s as a presenter on The Big Breakfast and Moviewatch. He also fronted the BBC's revival of Superstars over two seasons from 2003 to 2005.
