BT has promoted its TV services commercial director Marc Watson to director of content and business development for BT Consumer.
He will report to BT Vision chief executive Dan Marks and also joins BT's Consumer Leadership team.
Watson helped to launch the on-demand service in December 2006 and has been responsible for negotiating commercial rights agreements with the service's content providers.
Prior to his role at BT, he was chief media rights negotiator for the football league and Scottish Premier League at media deal broking firm, working with broadcasters such as Channel 4, the BBC and Fox.
