September Films has beefed up its senior management team with the addition of an executive producer, factual producer and a head of development.

September Films has beefed up its senior management team with the addition of an executive producer, factual producer and a head of development.

Nick Kenton will join the factual entertainment department as executive producer having moved from Mentorn where he held a similar role. Previously, Kenton spent four and a half years at Talkback Thames where he was a senior producer in factual and features development.

He also developed and produced documentaries such as Lifers - Living with Murderfor Channel 4 and recently produced and directed the ITV1 tribute to TV wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin.

Factual producer Peter Wyles is joining from Endemol UK, where he was responsible for ITV1 show Trouble in Paradise. Before Endemol, Wyles worked for RDF Media and Planet 24.

Completing the trio is Sam Rogerson, who joins as head of development from Endemol subsidiary Initial, where he was senior development producer.

At Initial, Rogerson worked with Endemol's factual, entertainment and interactive teams to help secure commissions such as Millionaire Manor, Andy and Michelle's Big Dayand Tom and Katie: Showbiz Marriagefor BBC1, ITV2 and Five respectively.

The three new appointments report to director of programmes Peter Davey.
