Shed owned indie Ricochet has secured a new commission from major US network ABC and been recommissioned to make a fourth series of Supernanny USA.

The indie has been greenlit to deliver a six part factual entertainment series for the network, but are keeping the details closely under wraps.

A statement from Ricochet said details of the show were being held back due to its commercially sensitive nature.

ABC has also recommissioned Ricochet to make a fourth series of Supernanny USA, for a run of 13 episodes.

Shed Productions chief executive Eileen Gallagher said: 'We're continuing to make great in-roads into the US market. The orders for Supernanny USAand a new six part series are on top of two pilots recently commissioned, a US version of Footballers' Wivesfor ABC and a pilot for a new drama series with the Fox Network. We look forward to working closely with the US broadcasters and continuing to build our portfolio of brands.'

Shed also announced the appointment of Christopher Bonney as a director on their board.

Bonney is head of Outright Distribution, formerly Screentime Partners, which was acquired by Shed in October last year.

However, back in the UK, Shed has been dropped off Sky One's short list to make a replacement 32 x 60-minute drama series for axed Dream Team. TwoFour and Ray Winstone's indie, Size Nine are now left to battle it out for the lucrative £6m contract.
