Spurs defeat gives victory to ITV4

ITV4's coverage of Tottenham Hotspurs' Uefa Cup defeat by Getafe was seen by 1.2m viewers from 8pm, a share of 6.56% in multichannel homes.
The game, which saw the Londoners lose 2-1 after taking the lead, hit a high of 1.7m (9.58%) in the final 15 minutes. ITV4's entire coverage, between 7pm and 10pm averaged 920,000 (5.17%).
The coverage was the most watched programme in multichannel homes last night, outperforming ITV2's ratings smash Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
The Billie Piper drama aired in a later 10pm slot and averaged 900,000 (5.59%) for its fifth outing. So far the series has averaged 1.1m (7.09%).
While Call Girl is still going strong, ITV2 is struggling beforehand with its drama series The Black Donnellys only bringing in 91,000 (0.51%) at 9pm.
Although ITV4's football coverage dominated BBC3 also managed to score a sizeable hit with My Big Breasts and Me. The hour-long factual programme gained a strong 765,000 (4.31%). The BBC3 digital entertainment channel then kept up the pace with EastEnders at 10pm on 766,000 (4.76%).
Making steady progress at 10pm on Living was the finale of the third series of Grey's Anatomy on a respectable 347,000 (2.5%).
There was a clash of films at 9pm between Five US and Film 4. Film 4's The Green Mile managed 333,000 (2.75%) for three and a half hours while the two hour Welcome to the Jungle, on Five US, drew 396,000 (2.46%).
