All3Media International has picked up a sixth series of CBBC’s children’s factual strand Serious…

Commissioned by Anne Gilchrist, creative director, CBBC, Serious Ocean will be the biggest expedition to date, and will see eight young adventurers heading to the southern-most part of Chile to sail in the heavy seas of the Pacific and around Cape Horn.

The show continues to rack up strong sales around the world
 
The most recent series, Serious Andes, has been sold to:

• Discovery Kids in the US,

• Kultura in Russia, NRK in Norway,

• TV3 in New Zealand,

• TV Ontario and Knowledge Network in Canada,

• SVT in Sweden,

• TVB in Hong Kong,

• UBC in Thailand.

French DTT channel Gulli has acquired the new series as well as re-licensing all previous series.
