The broadcaster, which is owned by CEE media conglomerate Antenna Group, has ordered a 30 x 60-minute run of the celebrity skiing competition format to air later this year.

Twofour is set to establish a Central and Eastern European hub in Slovenia to attract other broadcasters in the region interested in remaking the show.

The deal comes ahead of the Natpe Budapest market in the Hungarian capital, which opens this week.

Twofour Rights, the international distribution division of the ITV-owned indie, struck the deal, which was negotiated by sales exec Reka Gaspar.

The Twofour and GroupM Entertainment-produced show has run for three series on Channel 4 and is expected to return for a fourth run, despite a number of celebrity injuries in its last series.

“We are excited to bring The Jump, our high-performing, daring live action format, to Slovenia for the first time. A Slovenian hub creates a great opportunity for broadcasters across Central Eastern Europe to acquire this format,” said Gaspar.
