Magic takes London radio crown

Rajar: Magic's 105.4 DJ Neil Fox has overtaken Heart's Jamie Theakston and Harriet Scott as the number one commercial breakfast show in the capital.
According to Q2 Rajar figures, Fox's "more music, less talk" radio show pulled in an average weekly audience of 868,000 listeners between the 6am-9am slot.
This was up 5.4% year-on-year with a 4.5% uplift in listeners on Q1.
Fox's audience share of 5.7% nudged him ahead of Heart and Capital which recorded 5.6% and 5.2% respectively.
Heart's Theakston and Scott saw their audience drop to 844,000 listeners, a drop of 3.5% year on year and 5.5% on last quarter.
Meanwhile, Capital 95.8's Johnny Vaughan and Denise Van Outen dropped by 7.6% year on year and 6.9% quarter on quarter to 772,000.
Elsewhere, Kiss 100's Rickie and Melvin attracted just 587,000 listeners, a year-on-year drop of 14.7% and quarterly drop of 10.5%.
Virgin FM's audience fell slightly from 625,000 to 596,000 quarter on quarter for its 6am- 10am breakfast show.
Meanwhile, GCap Media, recently acquired by Global Radio, saw Xfm's breakfast register a minor increase in audience to 222,000 on Q1. However, this was a fraction of the 308,000 recorded at the same stage last year.
Speech radio station TalkSport's flagship Alan Brazil sports breakfast achieved a weekly reach of 1.1m listeners, up 4%year-on-year.
