JK and Joel previously hosted the Sunday afternoon chart show and early breakfast slots on Radio 1. They were hired in 2007 by Virgin Radio's former programme chief, David Lloyd.
Their TV credits include ITV1's Saturday night karaoke show Sing It Back and Children's BBC show Hider In The House
Meanwhile, another Virgin Radio DJ, Robin Burke, is also leaving the company after almost seven years.
