Sunday: 416,000 join Noel's HQ

Noel's HQ, one of Sky 1's autumn highlights, picked up a solid audience of 416,000 (2.1%) at 7pm, gaining a significant advantage over its close rival ITV2 at the time.

The 90-minute show managed to hit a 15-minute high of 510,000 (2.4%) at 8pm.

In Sky homes only, the show managed to grab an audience share of 4.79%.

The entertainment channel was some way above ITV2, which has a presence on the Freeview platform, as The Fashion Show could only manage 155,000 (0.8%) for an hour at 7pm.

But Sky 1 was no match for BBC3's film National Treasure, which pulled in a substantial 782,000 (3.9%) for two hours. The movie peaked at the end with 1.1m (4.8%).

BBC3 was in a stickier situation following the film at 9pm as its new sitcom Massive failed to live up to its name. The initial half-hour show, which had been heavily trailed by the corporation, took a disappointing 380,000 (1.8%) with 341,000 staying to watch the second episode at 9.30pm.

Getting nearly twice the audience of BBC3 at the time was ITV2's Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter which once again proved to be a ratings hit on 643,000 (3.1%).

ITV2 was also on form earlier in peaktime with repeats of its X Factor shows. The main ITV1 show was aired at 6pm and drew an impressive 719,000 (4.7%). Later on at 8pm Xtra Factor broke the half a million mark on 520,000 (2.4%).
