Brief Entire audio post for the adaptation of William Boyd’s epic novel.

How it was done Led by managing director Nigel Heath, Hackenbacker took a cinematic stance by mixing in 5.1 to avoid the DVD release just consisting of an upmix. There was also a substantial amount of ADR to keep dialogue clean and free from 21st century sounds to create an illusion of ‘memory’.
