Brief Provide full picture and sound post on series five of the CBBC musical comedy set in school, continuing its pop video look and creating a rich sound scape to make a believable school environment.
How it was done The show was given a complex track-lay to achieve the desired richness of sound in the school. As the characters break into song, special care was taken to make the transitions in and out of the musical items seamless with the normal action.
Tony Greenwood and Emily Nuttall completed all sound work using Pro Tools version 11. For the pictures, Matt Brown and Neil Parker provided a “bright and punchy” look using Da Vinci Resolve and Avid Symphony. The composer was Mikis Michaelides. Core Post also provided on-location editing and storage facilities
