Pinewood MBS Lighting has been named as an Albert certified lighting supplier.

The affiliation is reward for the company’s commitment to using LED and low energy lighting.

Albert is an environmental sustainability initiative for the visual-arts, supported and governed by the BAFTA Albert Consortium.

Pinewood MBS Lighting managing director Darren Smith said, “We currently have almost four thousand low energy products out on production and with power savings of up to 92%, every single one of them is directly helping with albert’s aim to create sustainable production.”

Pinewood MBS Lighting is the exclusive provider of lighting and grip equipment at Pinewood and Shepperton Studios. It is a partnership between the US based MBS Media Campus and the Pinewood Group.

The company has supplied low energy and LED lighting to crews on various productions including The Nutcracker, The Four Realms and The Mummy.
