Cantemo has launched a beta version of its hybrid cloud media management product Iconik and will show it at NAB.

Built natively for the cloud, Iconik can work independently or integrate with Portal, Cantemo’s existing MAM (Media Asset Management) offering.

Chief executive Parham Azimi said, “Many organisations are seeing the benefits of moving to a cloud, or in many cases, hybrid cloud environment. Iconik is built specifically for those environments, whilst being scalable and affordable. This means that it can cater to the smallest of organisations, and to the biggest, offering a new level of efficiency in global collaborative workflows.”

Iconik features will include ingest, distribution, rights adherence and metadata processing.

The application can be deployed on any cloud provider and includes a ‘Bring Your Own Storage’ option that allows users to keep their content in its existing location.

Content can be indexed from numerous media sources including local SAN or existing cloud storage, including aggregating the metadata and the rights involved.

Iconik is currently being made available in a beta version to a limited number of existing Cantemo customers.
