The Sussex-based channel, which goes on air at the end of this month, will use HPX250 and PX270 camcorders for location reporting. Adapted HPX255 units (pictured) will provide camera facilities for the seafront TV studio. The HPX255 cameras will be controlled using Datavideo’s MCU-100 handheld unit, which gives the producer access to recording, gain, black-andwhite balance, pedestals, shutter and iris controls, with signals transmitted over Cat-5 cabling. Distributed by Holdan, the Panasonic and Datavideo equipment was supplied by London-based reseller Proactive.
