A group of eight British media technology companies are exhibiting at SET, an exhibition organised by the Brazilian Society of Television Engineering.

The companies, which have been sponsored by UK Trade & Industry and managed by Tradefair, include Object Matrix, whose servers and asset management system was used by Fox Sports Brazil to support its coverage of the recent World Cup.

Calrec Audio will shocase its latest audio desks at the exhibition, while TSL Products will demonstrate devices supporting audio and video over IP.

Wireless comms firm Cobham, satellite equipment provider Peak Communications, graphics firm RT Software, archive and asset management company QLS Distribution and archive provider XenData will also attend the Sāo Paulo show.

“The World Cup was seen around the world, and was hugely impressive, and of course the Olympics are just a couple of years away,” said Tradefair’s Mark Birchall.

“British specialist vendors continue to lead the way in the rapidly-changing broadcast and media market, and I am delighted to be working with these eight leading companies once again to help them take the best of British to Brazil.”

SET2014 takes place in the Expo Center Norte in Sāo Paulo, Brazil, 24 to 27 August.
