Brief Audio post-production on the third series of the crime drama in which DI Alec Hardy and DS Ellie Miller investigate a serious sexual assault.
How it was done Dubbing mixing Howard Bargroff was asked to use sound to enhance the story, without getting in the way of the narrative. Like the two previous series, the sound of the sea is a key element that threads its way through the drama.
Bargroff also enhanced key sections, such as evidence collecting in episode one, with additional Foley to improve the sync sound, while gaps were deliberately created in the sonic space during quieter scenes.
The sound was edited and mixed using Avid ProTools HDX2 and both an Avid D-Control Icon and an Avid S3 surface.
