Brief Grade the 3 x 60-minute series examining China and its striking scenery and diverse cultural heritage as the country celebrates its new year. Presented by Kate Humble, The Hairy Bikers, actress and presenter Jing Lusi and designer Ant Anstead.

How it was done Graded in Baselight, colourist Nick Adams accentuated the film’s landscape of lush greens and misty blues and the stunning turquoise of a city made of ice. The vibrant colours of the landscape portrayed the vitality of the celebrations as well as emphasising the unique natural setting. The footage was shot on a Sony PMW-500 and a Sony Alpha 7S. This helped to achieve the desired natural look of the scenery and celebrations. Nick Dixon did the online.
