Brief Picture and audio post on the 10 x 11-minute shorts about a retired music tour manager.
How it was done Senior colourist Colin Peters graded the raw Arri Alexa files on the Nucoda Film Master, creating a naturalistic environment.
Peters used Sapphire plug-ins to achieve a feature film appearance, bringing out the intense colours of the production. New character viewpoints provided the opportunity for fresh elements to be used in the grade.
With each episode being a new set-up, each mix was also started from a new perspective. The challenge set for dubbing mixer Tom Corbett by sound recordist Russell Jeffery was to achieve a filmic composition while getting the mix to translate on TV speakers.
