London post house Directors Cut Films has expanded its offline capacity with the addition of four more Avid suites.

The suites, which are all connected to Avid’s Unity storage system, take the number of offlines at the Great Portland Street premises to ten.

Sales and marketing director Natalie Bayford said the extra capacity would be used on a number of new projects including a six part Jamie Oliver series, ten hours for Wild Pictures and a six part series made by the post firm’s sister company Directors Cut Productions.

Directors Cut has also hired four more staff; a facility manager, a facility assistant and two technical operators.
