Brief Post-produce a 60-minute programme looking at Formula E, the electric racing series set to rival F1. The film follows the process of setting up the competition, as well as the construction of 40 racing cars and the first testing sessions from the Donnington Park circuit.
How it was done Producer David Gilbert spent 18 months following the team behind Formula E. Sound editor Steve Crook worked in 5.1 to design the sound, paying special attention to the graphics sequences. He enhanced the racetrack audio to produce a high-octane atmosphere synonymous with motorsport. Colourist Matt Eversfield graded the doc using Nucoda Film Master, creating the dynamic, polished feel Gilbert wanted. Eversfield then onlined in Avid Symphony Nitris. Ben Plumb was the post-producer.
