Post-production firm Gorilla has added a third MatrixStore to its Cardiff facility.

MatrixStore, from Object Matrix, acts as a pre-production, nearline or local disk-based archive, allowing content to move through a digital workflow from ingest to delivery.

“With the acquisition of our third and largest MatrixStore we are excited to be able to offer the same ingest, nearline and archive solution across our three facilities,” said Gorilla Group managing director Rich Moss.

“It will be central to our tapeless workflow solutions for all our network drama productions this year and forms the backbone of our data handling and media security” he added.
