Halo Post has recruited Kate Robson to the newly created role of director of operations of its film and drama division.

She joins Halo from Prime Focus, where she was head of operations, broadcast UK.

The Soho post firm said the role had been “created to underpin Halo’s continued diversification into high end drama and feature films productions”.

While at Prime Focus, Robson led the team which developed its on-set data management service Rapta.

Managing director of Halo Film and Drama Dave Turner said: “The division has grown quickly over the last few years and her arrival is perfectly timed as we establish a solid and streamlined end-to-end digital pipeline that will set us up for the data hungry demands of the future.”

Halo has just completed picture post on upcoming BBC drama The Driver and is currently undertaking picture and audio post on The Missing, also for the BBC.

Meanwhile, Prime Focus has promoted James Creegan to head of operations to replace Robson.
