Client Studio Lambert

Brief Picture and audio post-production for the 3 x 60-minute second series. The doc explores the impact of welfare reforms and how the cap on benefits and soaring rental prices are putting a strain on unemployed households, and how Tower Hamlets Council is preparing for the potential crisis.

How it was done Shot on Sony PMW-200 and Canon C300 cameras, colourist Colin Peters graded the series with the Nucoda Film Master, giving the scenes that focus on the search for a council house an optimistic warmth.

Using shapes, vignettes and grading layers, Peters was able to focus the audience eye on specific parts of the frame.

Dan Evans completed the online edit with Avid Symphony and Laurence Gale mixed the audio for the series with Pro Tools 11.

Watch it Wednesdays, 9pm, Channel 4
