Brief Picture and audio post-production for the 3 x 60-minute series in which Joanna Lumley travels the 6,400-mile route from Hong Kong to Moscow.
How it was done Senior colourist Aidan Farrell graded the series with the Nucoda Film master, creating a beautiful look for the journey. Farrell’s objective was to embrace the natural surroundings and maximise the beauty of the locations. The series was shot on a range of camera formats, which created an extra challenge in the grading process to integrate all the source rushes into one film. Tom Holborow completed the online in Avid Symphony using Sapphire and Boris plug-ins to add to the texture of the series, and Dan Chapman mixed the audio with Pro Tools 11.
