Digital media facility Loft London will use Wohler Technologies’ RadiantGrid software for transcoding, rewrapping, and frame-rate conversions.

The mid- August installation will be the first for RadiantGrid in Europe and will be the demonstration platform and test bed for the UK and European market.

Loft London commercial director David Barrett said the decision had been taken because with its previous technology clients, content was taking up to seven times longer than real time to process frame-rate conversions.
