SIS chief operating officer Mark Kingston is set to leave the OB business after 21 years with the firm.

Kingston cited the company’s impending move from London to Manchester as one of the reasons for his departure.

“As the business prepares to move from London, it has become clear that this is the right time for me to leave the business and I do so for both professional and family reasons,” said Kingston.

SIS chief executive David Holdgate said: “Mark’s contribution has ranged from the development of the SIS Link division from its inception into SIS Live, the major UK service provider to the broadcast industry.

“In his role as chief operating officer, Mark has led the technology development and the management of change that has been required at a critical time across the business.”

SIS said that Kingston will not be replaced.
