Brief Picture and audio post production on the 1 x 60-minute documentary for BBC One.

How it was done With unprecedented access, Mo Farah: Race of his Life is a one-hour documentary charting the athlete’s brutal training schedule, and goes behind the scenes of family life in the build-up to the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Colourist Perry Gibbs graded the 60-minute doc using Digital Vision’s Nucoda Film Master.

Shot in multiple locations around the world, ranging from his childhood hometown of Djibouti to training in Flagstaff, Arizona, Gibbs used localised saturation, shading and noise reduction to blend a variety of camera formats. Moreover, using the Brickwall tool, which is specific to Nucoda, Gibbs reduced the high frequency aliasing within the drone footage.

Jack Meadows used Source Connect to remotely record voiceover and mixed the audio using Avid Pro Tools 12 and the S6 console. Foley was recorded with Rode NTG-2 mics. 

Damon Tai completed the online using Avid Symphony.
